Mesothelioma is a flat tumor that covers the lung walls, thoracic cavity and wind pipes. It is a lung tumor that is closely related to occupational and residential hazard and exposure. Mesothelioma comes from the acronym Mesothelium (flat) and Oma (Latin for tumor).
